As the leader of the pack I realise how important I am to my pack. Mom and dad know to follow me around and I know that there are many pack leaders out there with the same hierarchy. All I can say is that humans have a lot to learn!

So back to the dog breed dog jewelry list , people love their own dog breed. Kerry Blue Terrier dog breed are quite popular and in Ireland they’re referred to as Irish Blue Terrier.

This dog breed was originally bred to control badgers, foxes, rats and rabbits. Now Kerry Blue Terrier dog breeds are known for their companionship and guarding ability.

Labrador Retrievers are renowned worldwide for their friendly nature and social skills. They are easy to train and they are used as guide dogs to blind people and as tracking dogs in the military.

I have a lot of Labrador Retriever friends in Jeffrey’s Bay. They like to bark a lot and play but the older they get the more miserable they become. Rose, Leo and I learnt it the hard way. We wanted to play and they chased us away, so be it. Who am I to argue, there’s no need to wear my strong Staffordshire Terrier jaw out.

The Labs mean well they are territorial and because we’re tourists and they are locals we naturally get the boot! So much for companionship!

Last on today’s list is the Lhasa Apso dog breed; this special breed originated in Tibet and their job was to alert the monks of any intruders trying to get into the monastery. The capital city of Tibet is Lhasa and apso means bearded therefore directly translated it means long haired Lhasa dog. Given the history of the Lhasa Apso dog breed they have strong ties to spirituality.
